There is a wide choice of campgrounds north of the notches in New Hampshire, and they can accommodate any type of camping. State and National Forest campgrounds (shown in blue) are often more primitive with limited trailer facilities, while the privately owned ones have more accommodations for RV's and campers, as well as WIFI. Some have cabins as well.

The White Mountains have a hut system above timberline for overnight hikers, it is run by the Appalachian Mountain Club.
